Branch MBAC

From the main company, set the page and feature ceiling for one branch.

Branches → MBAC (/branches/mbac?branchId=) is the ceiling: which pages, modules, and courier partners a branch is allowed to turn on. It cannot exceed the parent company. The server rejects anything above that pool.

Who can open it: main-company users granted Branch MBAC. The Branches menu (including this page) is never granted to a branch.

Open the handle

Two ways, both from the main company. Neither switches your active company into the branch.

Pick the branch

Search picker shows Name (id). Switching while unsaved asks you to discard. A missing/deleted id toasts and clears the picker.

Until a branch is selected the page says Please select a branch to manage its pages and modules.

Toggle pages and modules

The grid is the parent’s CLIENT menus minus Branches and Branch MBAC (those stay main-only). Features are the parent’s feature pool.

  • SELF delivery follows the parent — there is no branch toggle.
  • On the Rates module, Edit Rate Configuration lets the branch change its rate config (on by default).
  • Courier partner access (when that feature is on) hides partners this branch must not use.

Account stays on for every branch.

Save Changes

Discard resets. Save writes menus + features, then courier partner access. A loading toast becomes Branch access saved.

Roles inside the branch still pick pages from this pool on Role permissions. MBAC is the pool, not the role.

If something goes wrong

  • Branch cannot see a page after you ticked it here: that role’s Permissions page is still off.
  • Save fails: you tried to grant more than the parent has — the server blocks it.
  • MBAC button missing on Manage: your role lacks Branch MBAC.
